The Forestry Commission has kindly given permission for the Society to use allocated areas in the Forest of Dean to hold training days/tests.
The days will be held once monthly, generally the last Sunday of each month, please keep a look on the events page for future dates.
A maximum of six hounds can be catered for on each day.
The object of these days is to gain further experience in laying blood tracks and working blood tracks bringing you and your hound up to the standard to do take the Schweisshund Tests.
The days will also be used for the training of new Schweisshund judges. You will have the opportunity to lay tracks and watch other hounds work.
We may also have days dedicated to report training and discipline, this depends on what the members require.
